Ms. Holzer is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (tm), a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving, Certified Estate Advisor and a member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA), the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), and the Western Pension and Benefits Conference Group. She is the recipient of the Woman of Achievement in Finance award by the Century City Chamber of Commerce and the Woman of the Year award by the Business and Professional Women's Division of the United Jewish Fund.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is also active in civic affairs. She has received the Woman of the Year Award for the United Jewish Federation and the Woman of Action Award for the Israeli Cancer Research Fund. She is on the board of directors of the Children's Cancer Research Fund, the Mancini Institute, We Are the World and USA for Africa. She is also a member of executive committee of the American Cancer Society and the Children's Hospital Foundation in Los Angeles. In addition, she is on the board of trustees of the House Ear Institute and serves as an ambassador to the Weizmann Institute of Science. A graduate of Northwestern University, she is on the National Advisory Council for the School of Speech, and received Northwestern University's Honorary Service Award for 1999.
